Frequently asked questions

What makes the Cardio Explorer so special?

Coronary artery disease (the main cause of myocardial infarction) is an expression of a system-wide and very complex pathophysiology, which, in addition to several classical risk factors, also has numerous newer risk factors from the areas of metabolism and inflammation as its basis. Therefore, a comprehensive combinatorial assessment is necessary. Due to the large amount of data, only artificial intelligence (AI) can handle this in an efficient and optimized manner.

What are the risk factors and which ones can I influence myself?

Influencing factors: smoking, obesity, stress, lack of exercise
Non-influenceable: genetics (arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure), diabetes, age

Who can do the check-up?

The procedure is non-invasive and does NOT cause any stress. Cardio Explorer is applicable for any person.

What are the symptoms of a heart attack?

The leading symptom is chest pain or a feeling of tightness or pressure in the chest. In addition, pain may radiate to the left or right arm, back, neck, jaw, and upper abdomen. Women often show atypical signs. Heart attack in women

I have symptoms, what to do?

In case of an acute case, you must react immediately. If the pain, stinging in the chest persists for at least 20 minutes, call an emergency number.
